David J. Scarangella Named to Head Up The Rowe Companies' Wexford Collection Division

David J. Scarangella has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President of The Wexford Collection, a manufacturer of high quality, solid wood Irish antique reproductions, owned and operated by The Rowe Companies (NYSE: ROW). Gerald M. Birnbach, Chairman and CEO of The Rowe Companies, a leading manufacturer and marketer in the home furnishings industry, in making the announcement said, "We are pleased to have David joining our team. His industry background is truly an asset, and we look forward to him providing leadership to The Wexford Collection as we continue to position the company for growth." Prior to joining The Wexford Collection, Mr. Scarangella was an owner of The Giorgio Collection, a high-end contemporary case goods company. Previously he was a marketing and sales executive with Thomasville Furniture Industries, Bassett Furniture Industries, and American of Martinsville a division of LADD. In addition to The Wexford Collection, The Rowe Companies, Inc., owns Rowe Furniture Inc. -- a manufacturer of upholstered furniture with over one thousand domestic and international dealers, The Mitchell Gold Co. -- a manufacturer of upper-end upholstered furniture sold to some of the nation's leading specialty retailers, Home Elements, Inc. -- a 16-store specialty retail chain and Storehouse, Inc. -- a 42 store retail chain.
