Lanpar, Inc., has purchased the assets of Alan Morgan Furniture, importer of popular priced bedroom and home theater in oak and pine. The firm, previously based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, is relocating its offices to the parent company in Ontario, CA. Lampar, Inc., owner of Oakwood Interiors, domestic producer of upper end bedroom and home theater furniture, is headed by Nick Lanphier, president and chief executive officer. In a letter to Alan Morgan dealers, the executive noted, "I am excited about the addition of Alan Morgan to our family of companies and look forward to a long and prosperous mutual relationship with you and your company." Lanphier advised that inventories in both the US and China warehouses will be increased to reduce lead times for deliveries and facilitating service. Lanpar Inc., is marking 22 years ownership of the company under the direction of founder Rick Lanphier.
