Mr. Carter's experience includes 25+ years in the marketing and finance arena during which he served as President and CEO of investment banking, financial services, insurance and retail companies. After leaving the SEC, Mr. Carter headed the M&A unit for a Fortune 200 company and, thereafter, went into the private practice of law, serving as Chairman of the Securities Section of a major Midwest law firm. Since 1984, Mr. Carter has been an active entrepreneur, businessman and investor and has established, purchased or operated multiple businesses. He has been featured in U.S. News and World Report, Business Week and more than 60 newspapers.
