Lisa Harris, a furniture industry veteran, announced the formation of a company that will offer fabric consultation and design services to both manufacturers and retailers. Design services will range from space planning and interior architectural detailing to paint and wallpaper plans, flooring specifications, accessory specification, and installation. Harris is an ASID Professional designer (NCIDQ certified) and a member of both the Color Marketing Group and Withit (Women in the Home Industries Today). She brings 23 years of experience to her company, including 19 years at Bernhardt (Fashion Director and Director of Store and Gallery Planning) and 4 years at Drexel Heritage (senior designer in their store and gallery department). Her unique background in creating, developing and choosing fabrics gives her a wealth of knowledge and the ability to handle fabric selection and consultation. "My experience with showrooms, stores and galleries gives me the ability to work in a variety of styles and formats. Having dealt with so many differing tastes and requirements, I've developed the ability to understand the needs and visions of my clients, and deliver to them a cost-effective and successful design solution," Harris says. "Ultimately, I serve as their design partner, with the end result reflecting both their ideas and mine."
