At High Point 2000, Premier Bedding Group will unveil a number of updated designs as well as new pillow and topper programs for two of its brands. Located inside the Bassett furniture showroom, PBG will showcase product introductions, new visual display environments created to enhance sales and a new Web site. NEW PRODUCTS: Nature's Rest launches a pillow and topper program designed to promote add-on sales for retailers and stimulate consumer interest in owning a Nature's Rest mattress. The 1.5-inch latex topper comes with an exclusive 100 percent cotton cover and is priced at $349 for a queen-sized model. Pillows are available in standard to king-sizes and are priced accordingly from $29.99 to $59.99. To help retailers sell the Nature's Rest line, the company will also introduce a series of exciting visual display environments ranging from Point of Purchase materials with custom color-coordinated wall paint to murals and in-store fixtures. Carrington Chase: As a result of retailer demand, the Carrington Chase luxury mattress collection is expanded to include a new value-priced triple choice model at $1,199. Newly designed embroidered foot borders will also be on display. In addition, PBG is adding a latex pillow with a retail display program. Pillows retail from $24.99 standard to $49.99 king. Performax: After a successful preview at the Super Show in Atlanta, PBG unveils its revolutionary rest and recovery system - the Performax System 3 Sleeping Bag - geared toward serious athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The system includes a mattress topper and two pillows packaged in a sports bag. The company will also launch a Performax Web site, which will be previewed at the show. Bassett Bedding: PBG has completed a six-month overhaul of the Bassett line priced below $999 retail queen. The collection now offers a total of 18 models. The "good, better, and best" line, retailing from $499 to $999, comes with triple choice-of-comfort at each level in plush, firm and pillowtop with many models sporting newly-designed covers. In addition, PBG will again showcase the three latex beds it introduced in January at the International Furniture Mart.
