Western Home Furnishings Association Celebrates Final Payment Of 100% Member-Owned Headquarters

After 55 years of providing education, information, and meaningful products and services to home furnishings retailers in the West, the Western Home Furnishings Association reached a milestone by paying off its 100% member-owned 5,600 square foot headquarters located in Roseville, CA. To celebrate, the WHFA Board of Directors recently held its Fall Board Meeting to tour the Association's headquarters. The Board meeting served as the formal unveiling with a champagne toast and ribbon cutting. To further celebrate, the WHFA Executive Committee held a ceremonial mortgage shredding where WHFA Officers took turns running copies of the Associations mortgage through a paper shredder. "Most other industries own their own headquarters building," says Dave Lane, WHFA Executive Director. "Paying off our building puts us in the big leagues of trade associations and allows us to offer even more and better programs and services to benefit all home furnishings retailers in the West."
