As Kimball Home's product line grows by leaps and bounds, so does its need for more professionals to serve as liaisons for retail stores across the country. That's why the Indiana residential furniture manufacturer recently announced the addition of eight sales representatives. "Getting the right reps in place is very, very important," asserts Tom Nelson, director of sales and national sales manager for Kimball Home. "To the retail stores that bring our furniture to the American public, these men and women are Kimball Home. That's why we seek out the best, the brightest, and the most ethical people we can find to represent our company. We are pleased to welcome these eight new reps to our team, and hope they will be with us for a long time." Following is a list of Kimball Home's new sales reps. To leave a message for one of them, simply call Kimball Home's toll-free line-1 -800-482-1616-and then ask for or dial his personal four-digit voice mail extension code. Ron Harbach and D.J. Lang share responsibility for representing Kimball Home in the state of Texas. Both men are based in Texas, Harbach in the city of Garland (VM ext. 2834) and Lang in the city of Irving (VM extension 2835). Marty Herman, based in Jamaica Estates, New York, serves northern New Jersey and southern New York. (VM extension 2817.) Bill Huxen's territory is the state of Louisiana. He is based in Chalmette, Louisiana. (VM extension 2836.) Mark Miller represents Kimball Home in Nebraska and most of Iowa. He is based in Omaha, Nebraska. (VM extension 2358.) Stan Skipper serves the states of Alabama, Mississippi and most of the Florida Panhandle (west of and excluding Gadsden, Wakulla and Franklin Counties). He is based in Niceville, Florida. (VM extension 2833.) Adam Spicer is a new "sub-rep" serving North and South Carolina. He shares this territory with his father, Jerry Spicer, who has been a Kimball Home rep since November of 1997-the company's early days. (Adam's VM extension is 2826.) Roger Wade represents Kimball Home in the state of Georgia. He is based in Marietta, Georgia. Additionally, Richard P. Mueller adds Arkansas to his territory of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Madison, Monroe and St. Clair Counties of Illinois. Kimball Home and its "sister brand" Kimball Home Classics offer a broad range of collections for the bedroom, dining room, living room and home office. Styles range from Arts & Crafts/Mission to British Colonial to Biedermeier; materials include various species of solid wood, beautifully patterned veneers, and wrought steel accents. The company's newest collections-introduced at the Spring 2001 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point-are Villa Jolivet (a Louis Philippe-inspired bedroom group) and Office 2417 (a collection of sleek, contemporary mix-and-matchable home office components). Other recent additions, both introduced in early 2001, include Harmony Hill (a Shaker-inspired bedroom collection crafted in Australian Wormy Chestnutâ„¢) ) and Office e-Scapes (a group of versatile home office components available in four traditional styles, each designed to harmonize with a different Kimball Home residential collection). "It amazes me how fast our company has grown in just five years," says Robert Cribbs, general manager for Kimball Home. "We are all excited about the future, and we know these new reps-along with the rest of our sales team-will help us meet our next set of goals."
