Omnia Sets July 1 For Plant Opening: Tripled Capacity will Expedite East Coast Shipments

Omnia Leather Furniture, producer of upper end leather seating, with its sights set on the Eastern market has scheduled opening of a new additional 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility for July 1. The plant will triple the company's manufacturing capacity and warehouse space, said Peter Zolferino, vice president of sales and marketing. "With the added new warehouse space, the enlarged Omnia operation will allow the company to schedule larger shipments by truck for the East coast," Zolferino noted. "Where we needed to load two or three partial trailers previously to complete an order, we will now get that down to one consolidated load as a result of increased production. It translates into getting more goods out at a quicker response time to our customers. Now we can start building more programs for the East. " Omnia has enlarged its motion production, also."We're going to get a lot stronger in motion merchandising, Zolferino predicted."
