Homecrest Industries, award-winning manufacturers of the highest quality casual outdoor furniture, is pleased to announce the addition of the Manor House Sling to the renowned Ducks UnlimitedĀ® Home Furnishings group for 1999. Manor House Sling, a Ducks Unlimited Collection, Joins the Homecrest family of aluminum slings known for outstanding comfort and superior construction and styling. "We felt the Ducks Unlimited audience would respond well to the ornate look of Manor House," said Arthur Apissomian, Homecrest furniture designer. "We developed a beautiful armrest on Manor House featuring a scroll within a scroll. The collection has a hand-forged look to it because of the heavy scroll work, but it's aluminum." Homecrest's aluminum furniture lines are often mistaken for steel furniture because they are built to last, using heavy gauge aluminum frame extrusions welded into place, yet are virtually maintenance free. The Manor House Collection includes a swivel rocker, dining chair, and loveseat glider all in high back and standard back styles. A self-adjusting chaise and ottoman round out the collection. Manor House Padded Sling is also available. New Styling Options Available on Manor House and all Homecrest Sling Collections in 1999 The Estate Style Option from Homecrest is available on all aluminum sling chairs and radically changes the profile of the sling. "Homecrest has sculpted the top line of the sling chair to crest it in the mariner of a period upholstered chair. The Estate Option dramatically changes the appearance of the group because people are accustomed to flat-top slings, which have been an industry standard," said Apissomian. The Estate Option is available on all aluminum sling swivel rockers, bar stools, swivel bar stools, and dining chairs. Also new for 1999, Homecrest is introducing standard back models on all aluminum sling swivel rockers and dining chairs. The standard back designs are ideal for the consumer who wants a lighter, lower profile chair. Padded slings are now an option on the Manor House Sling Collection and all Homecrest sling collections. Padded slings offer the comfort of extra padding besides a whole new opportunity for styling. Padded sling furniture is still low maintenance and easily cleaned. All aluminum sling swivel rockers, dining chairs, bar stools, loveseat gliders, chaises, and ottomans are available in the padded option. ESPRESSO TEAK BAR GROUP Homecrest Combines Elegant Wrought Iron With Contemporary Teak Homecrest Industries, Inc. has expanded the Espresso Collection of casual outdoor wrought iron furniture with a new bar group for 1999. Two styles of barstools are now available. Choose from the traditional backless barstool or the more contemporary barstool with an elegantly curved backrest. All barstools feature a wide-legged stance for extra sturdiness. The wrought iron stools with either stamped steel or teak wood seats are complemented perfectly by the new 30" diameter, stamped top bar table or the 36" diameter, teak top table. "Combining wrought iron and wood is very popular currently," stated Arthur Apissomian, award- winning furniture designer for Homecrest. "Wood has always been a sought after look in home furnishings. It is a warm and inviting look." Always a leader in the casual outdoor furniture industry, Homecrest has met consumer requests by adding teak to the popular Espresso Collection. Teak seats are available on the new barstools, backless or with a backrest-, and on the cafe chairs, either with or without armrests. A new 36" diameter bar table features a teak top. The rich teak wood can be easily maintained to a lustrous golden finish or allowed to naturally weather to a silvery grey. A stamped seat cafe chair and a padded seat cafe chair, both with or without arm rests complete the Espresso Collection.
