American Leather Honors Top Salespeople

Dallas-based American Leather (formerly LeatherTECH) this honored its top salespeople in an awards ceremony at the company's annual sales conference. Stuart Stein was named "Salesman of the Year," and Jim Hockberger was honored for "Outstanding Territory Development." Based in Beachwood, Ohio, Stein is responsible for the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia territories, and has represented American Leather for five years. According to Bob Duncan, president of American Leather, Stein has obtained extraordinary sales growth in his territory. "Stuart's level of professionalism and excellent rapport with our customers sets a new standard of service that exceeds our organization objectives," Duncan said. Jim Hockberger is based in Pompano Beach, Florida and covers Florida, Georgia, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico. He has represented American Leather for two years. Cary Benson, vice president of sales and marketing for American Leather said he has been very pleased with the development of the southeastern territory. "The growth of Jim's territory has been excellent this last year, and I expect it to develop into our largest market."
