La-Z-Boy Incorporated, the nation's leading manufacturer of upholstered furniture, has announced the grand opening of two new La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries® in Spokane, Wash., one located at 10205 North Division and the other at 11707 East Sprague. Combined, the stores will feature more than 23,000 square feet of showroom space devoted exclusively to La-Z-Boy furnishings, allowing customers to select from the full line of La-Z-Boy products for the living room and family room. Products offered will include the company's world famous recliners, motion sofas, sleep sofas, modular furniture and leather upholstery, as well as stationary sofas and chairs from the American Home Collection by La-Z-Boy®. Also on display and available to consumers will be occasional furniture pieces by Hammary, a La-Z-Boy subsidiary. "We are ecstatic about the opening of these new stores," said Dick Scroggs, who owns both stores along with his son, Pete. "La-Z-Boy does an incredible job of creating the styles of furniture that people are looking for today. Plus, La-Z-Boy's quality is unsurpassed." The latest in a new generation of La-Z-Boy specialty stores, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries feature multiple galleries, each representing its own category of La-Z-Boy furniture. Both Spokane stores will feature fully accessorized room vignettes in four major galleries, including: a Living Room Gallery, featuring stationary sofas, loveseats and chairs in every style category from traditional to contemporary; a Family Room Gallery, showcasing motion sofas and loveseats, sofa beds and reclining chairs; a Leather Gallery, presenting an impressive array of leather finishes, textures, styles and colors available from La-Z-Boy; and a Chair Gallery that features the full range of world famous La-Z-Boy reclining chairs. Each of the two new La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries also will feature complete design centers, including the La-Z-Boy Screen Tests video catalog system that allows customers the opportunity to view any La-Z-Boy product in their choice of fabrics before they buy. In addition, each of the store's sales associates is a graduate of the La-Z-Boy Design Institute, a course that stresses the fundamentals of coordinating fabrics and styles. "We are very excited about the opening of our new stores in the Spokane market," said Patrick H. Norton, senior vice president of sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy. "Each of the two new locations expands and strengthens our presence in the western United States, and moves us closer to our goal of bringing La-Z-Boy products to the widest possible consumer base."
