This new alliance between ProphetLine and Onyx will enable retailers using ProphetLine's point-of-sale software to benefit from customized credit scoring without requiring customized software development. The system, known as 4SCORE ™ is a real-time, multi-bureau credit rating system which supports consumer and commercial credit evaluation, as well as fraud, and existing and duplicate customer checking facilities. On-line connections with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion cover consumer credit. Dun & Bradstreet and Experian's business division connections provide commercial credit data. Data collection and scoring are performed on a custom basis and configurable by business unit and product. For retailers, the ProphetLine-Onyx alliance provides a single interface at point-of-sale that simplifies and speeds the sale process. Credit scoring data is retrieved automatically from 4SCORE Tm and appears in a ProphetLine window.
