Furniture from three Kimball Home collections played a role in the Greater Greensboro Builders Association (GGBA)'s Showcase of Homes, held October 31 - November 15, Lake Jeanette, in Greensboro, NC. Styles from the Cherry Falls, Maple Creek and Victoria Passage collections adorned two bedrooms and the dining room, respectively, in the 4,000 square foot "Showcase" house built by Wolfe Homes of Greensboro, NC. The house-whose floor plan and architectural features are licensed by Bob Timberlake TM_ was one of ten open to the public during GGBA's annual Showcase of Homes. Patra Wansley, proprietor of High Point store The Gilded Lily, designed the interior of the Wolfe house. She says she chose Kimball Home for the furniture's superior quality and eclectic designs. "The house is a masterpiece of rustic elegance-it calls for furniture which is distinctive, yet which showcases the architecture," she explains. "I immediately thought of Kimball. Their collections are so versatile they can hold their own in any home. And I made the right decisionall the pieces fit beautifully." "There was a lot of interest in the furniture," Wansley adds. "Especially the Victoria Passage items which were just introduced at Market-I heard plenty of positive comments about the louvered doors' weathered finish. Once it gets into the stores, it's really going to sell."
