Three new La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries have opened in Indianapolis, Ind., with locations at 2721 East 86th Street, 100 South Post Road and 4420 Lafayette Road. Combined, the three new stores feature more than 48,000-square feet of showroom space devoted exclusively to La-Z-Boy furnishings, allowing customers to select from the full line of La-Z-Boy products for the living room and family room. Products offered include the company's world famous recliners, motion sofas, sleep sofas, modular furniture and leather upholstery, as well as stationary sofas and chairs from the American Home Collection by La-Z-Boy. Also on display and available to consumers will be occasional furniture pieces by Hammary, a La-Z-Boy subsidiary. "We are very excited about the opening of our three Indianapolis stores," said Tom Foster, owner of the new La-Z-Boy stores. "La-Z-Boy does an incredible job of creating the styles of furniture that people are looking for today. These new stores bring a whole new retailing concept for furniture to the Indianapolis area." All three Indianapolis stores feature fully accessorized room vignettes in four major galleries, including: a Living Room Gallery, featuring stationary sofas, loveseats and chairs in every style category from traditional to contemporary; a Family Room Gallery, showcasing motion sofas and loveseats, sofa beds and reclining chairs; a Leather Gallery, presenting an impressive array of leather finishes, textures, styles and colors available from La-Z-Boy; and a Chair Gallery that features the full range of world famous La-Z-Boy reclining chairs. The three new La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries each feature a complete design center, including the La-Z-Boy Screen Test video catalog system that allows customers the opportunity to view any La-Z-Boy product in their choice of fabrics before they buy. In addition, each of the store's sales associates is a graduate of the La-Z-Boy Design Institute, a course that stresses the fundamentals of coordinating fabrics and styles. "We are very excited about the opening of these three new stores," "The new Indianapolis locations expand and strengthen our presence in the Midwestern United States, and move us closer to our goal of bringing La-Z-Boy products to the widest possible consumer base," said Patrick H. Norton, senior vice president of sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy. cwinkler@la-z-boy.com
