AKTRIN STRIKES STRATEGIC ALLIANCES WITH ISPA AND IFMA

The AKTRIN Furniture Information Centre has concluded marketing agreements with the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). According to the agreements, AKTRIN will market several of ISPA's and IFMA's publications. This includes in particular the: Bedding Forecast, Sales Trends Report, Annual Report, and Tagging Law Manual. Dr. Stefan Wille, president of the AKTRIN Furniture Information Center says that ISPA's reports are the most authoritative publications concerning the bedding industry. There is no equivalent information available anywhere else. ''With the addition of IPSA's and IFMA's reports to the existing assortment of AKTRIN reports, we are now covering all segments of the furniture industry, from accessories to bedding, to office and institutional furniture, upholstery, store fixtures, kitchen cabinets, and much more," Dr. Wille says. The agreements with the two associations are an important step in AKTRIN's ongoing quest to broaden its network of collaborative agreements. "We are pleased to associate ourselves with such a prominent names as ISPA and IFMA," Dr. Wille states. "AKTRIN's network of collaborative agreements now covers most associations and institutions concerned with furniture manufacturing and distribution." ISPA is the best known trade organization for bedding manufacturers and suppliers. Founded more than 80 years ago, the association has now some 650 members in the USA and foreign countries. Some of ISPA's members belong to the largest bedding manufacturers in the world. ISPA is affiliated with the Sleep Product Safety Council, and the Better Sleep Council. Established in 1980, IFMA is a not-for-profit, international association located in Houston, TX. It is dedicated to serving the facility management profession.
