Effective Networking Techinques Seminar Sponsored by Virginia/ Carolinas Chapter of WithIt:

The Virginia / Carolinas regional chapter of WithIt, the industry association dedicated to furthering the leadership and interests of professional women in the home furnishings industries, is sponsoring an event on "Effective Networking Techniques" during Premarket here in mid-March, Current and prospective members, plus all furniture industry professionals, are invited to join in the after-hours seminar and social reception. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 17, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 at the Lackawanna Leather showroom, 112 South Elm Street. Kay Johnson, president of Johnson West Associates and a consultant to US Airways, Yale University Medical School, Pepsi, Coopers & Lybrand and Sara Lee., will lead the session on networking, Johnson's participation in the WithIt seminar has been under-written by generous contributions from Hooker Furniture and Sam Moore Furniture. Ticket prices are $10 for WithIt members and $20 for non-members. Reserved seating can be secured by calling the WithIt office at 336/883-0700. Payment will also be accepted at the door.
