Decorating Den Interiors Holds Annual Conference

Decorating Den Interiors, the largest international interior decorating franchiser, recently held it's 29th Annual Market Conference at the Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida. More than 550 people attended. The theme of the five-day event was "Success by Design." The company announced new programs that will solidify Decorating Den Interiors' market position going into the year 2000. Programs launched include: a new direct marketing program with ADVO, Inc., North America's largest direct marketing service; and the inauguration of Decorating Den Interiors' intranet linking the more than 700 franchise owners to one interactive communication system to further enhance business systems, productivity and communications. "The momentum is building," states Jim Bugg, Jr., President and CEO of Decorating Den Interiors, "We predict the synergy between our updated logo, world wide web image and new direct marketing program will catapult Decorating Den Interiors into the new millennium. We can already feel the momentum ... this truly is "Success by Design"." The conference highlight was the keynote address by Millard Fuller, Founder of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI). Fullers' address praised Decorating Den Interiors' recent partnership with HFHI to raise monies and awareness for the cause. Additional updates were given on such high profile projects as; Time/Life's Spring 1999 publication of Decorating Den Interiors' third book, Smart & Sensible Decorating, the recent completion of a makeover for PBS' Emmy Award winning program, "This Old House," and the announcement of the $50,000 Decorating Den Interiors/Woman's World Magazine Home Makeover Contest winner.
