São Paulo Is Playing Host To The Newest Furniture Industry Suppliers Fair Expecting To Gather 300 Exhibitors And 50 Thousand Visitors.

Expecting to gather over 300 suppliers for machines, equipment, hardware, accessories, components and services for the furniture industry, the ForMóbile – International Furniture Industry Suppliers Fair, which will be held from August 4 to 7, 2004, at Anhembi, in São Paulo, is under advanced trading stage. “And we should receive over 50 thousand visitors”, believes Alexandre Barbosa, the Fair director. And there are several reasons for such optimism. The fair will take place in São Paulo, the economical capital city for Latin America. Visitors from all Brazilian furniture spots as well as from other countries will have a quick and easy access, once the city has got a thorough infrasctructure expected from the fifth biggest city in the world. “International flights or from any area within the country are flown nonstop, assuring comfort to the visitors”, explains Eduardo Guazzelli, director. The ForMóbile will even be segmented and have internal differentials just like the most modern European fairs. Besides the sectorization by product type presented, the event has provided specific technology areas for mattress and upholstery manufacturers and service offices. “Thus we’ll be able to optimize the visiting. The buyer will have the opportunity for comparing products and suppliers in a very quick and simple way”, concludes Guazzelli.“ Another highlight of ForMóbile is ForMar – Retail and Joinery Fair, which takes place in parallel, at an attached pavillion at Anhembi. The only one in Brazil adressed to made to order furniture manufacturers, the fair will focus on technical and management training of these professionals, with lectures, machine and equipment presentations and two parallel events: the Future Joinery and Model Retail.
