The Board of Directors of the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) International is pleased to announce the election of a new president and directors for their 2004-2005 fiscal year. Vice-President/President-elect P. Dan Miller, Kimball Office Group, was elected to a one-year term as the association's new President effective June 1, 2004. Dan Miller succeeds Bill Rubino, JOFCO International, who had completed his second term as president and was not eligible to run again, though Mr. Rubino will continue serving as a Director. Director Scott Schwinghammer, Versteel, was elected to serve another year as BIFMA Treasurer. Rebecca Boenigk, Neutral Posture; Gregg Masenthin, Jami Inc.; and Steve Hankins, Group Dekko, were each elected to serve three-year terms as BIFMA Directors. These new Directors were elected to fill open seats vacated by Casey Journigan, Arcadia, and Michael Dunlap, Michael A. Dunlap & Associates, who's terms as Directors had ended. We thank Casey and Mike for their years of dedication and contribution to the BIFMA organization. Established in 1973, BIFMA International is a not-for-profit trade association of furniture manufacturers and suppliers addressing issues of common concern. BIFMA's mission is to serve the North American office and business furniture manufacturing industry as an information resource and industry advocate, and by offering industry-wide trade development opportunities.
