Parents all over North America are likely to find that their children are spending a lot more time in their room with the launch of a creative new line of children’s furniture from Imagination at Play. The just released line developed and produced by the San Francisco-based company features a full line of creative furniture and accessories that kids love. This series of chest of drawers, side tables and bed headboards is the first product line from Imagination at Play and it introduces a design that features a fanciful style. The original design gives each piece a distinct personality that appears to have been inspired by popular cartoon characters. The Imagination at Play furniture uses bold color, flowing lines and unusual angles to give each piece an animated feel. The furniture is designed to capture the spirit of childhood, and place it in an imaginative world where furniture is not square and normal, but takes on the form of a character and maybe even a friend. “I always strive to design my furniture as functional pieces of art,” said Christopher Timms, Designer at Imagination at Play. “We design furniture that inspires smiles.” In addition, Imagination at Play offers a full line of accessories that complement the furniture to allow a child or parent to decorate and complete a room in the same unique style.
