The Bombay Company Enters Strategic Alliance With Amazon.com to Sell Bombay, Bombay KIDS and Bombay Outlet Products

The Bombay Company announced that it has launched a strategic alliance with Amazon.com to sell all Bombay, Bombay KIDS and Bombay Outlet productson Amazon.com, with a Bombay branded store within Amazon.com's Home & Garden store. "We're very excited about our new relationship with Amazon.com," said Bombay's Steve Farley, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising. "This alliance will showcase Bombay's products and brands to the more than 35 million Amazon.com customers. This is yet another way we are introducing Bombay and Bombay KIDS to a broader audience of consumers."Bombay will carry the same products at the same prices on Amazon.com that are currently available in Bombay's more than 380 U.S. brick-and mortar stores and online at http://www.bombaycompany.com. Bombay KIDS -- a line of stores featuring fun and creative furniture, bedding and accessories for kids -- currently includes a catalog, web site (http://www.bombaykids.com ) and 13 brick-and-mortar stores. Bombay plans to open 100 Bombay KIDS stores nationwide within the next three years.
