New Belgian Pavillion At Drapery & Upholstery Fabric, Leather and Trimmings Fair In London

London Fabric announced that the Belgian textile federation, Febeltex, and the Belgian government export promotion organisation, Export Flanders, have decided to join forces with London Fabric and will be organising a Belgian pavilion for the first time at next year’s show from 22 to 24 February 2005. Belgian weavers have traditionally been very active in the UK market which represents the 1st largest export market for the Belgian upholstery fabric industry. In fact, despite fierce competition from low cost labour countries, exports of Belgian textiles to the UK increased by 4.1% during the first quarter of 2004. Exhibitors already signed up include Van Neder, Escolys, Waesland, Verstraete & Verbauwede, Escolys, B&T Textilia, Muvantex, Romain Maes, Movelta/Tavelmo, De Sadeleer & Van Wilder, Bekaert-Depla, Ter Molst, Symphony Mills ... The fifth edition of London Fabric will take place from 22 to 24 February 2005 in a new location: Olympia 2 in West London.
