At the October 14th - 20th Furniture Market in High Point, North Carolina, Romweber Furniture (located in the Hamilton wing of the IHFC in space H1021) will unveil its new Inspirations line, one its most bold and creative furniture lines in decades. Inspirations is the perfect blend of style and functionality offering value that is unmatched. The new line of 15 styles of case goods offers customers a personal preference option in stained and painted finishes and three different functionalities. Romweber, the oldest wholly domestic manufacturer of furniture in the US, boasts of it's superior engineering without giving up it's heirloom quality and hopes to make it more competitive with foreign imports flooding the market. In response to trends in the case goods market, Inspirations uses American ingenuity and generations of experience to cut costs and directly compete with lower price/lower quality imports coming from Latin America and Asia. They achieve this through refinement of the manufacturing process and the engineering of the design. The Inspirations program is something that no one else in the industry is doing and the fact that it is 100% American made is one of it's biggest assets. “We posed the challenge to our engineers that to be competitive we had to find a way to produce efficiently without losing our famed quality, and they really came through big. Yes, the overseas competition is a factor, but American quality and functionality is priceless,” comments Bruce Rippe of Romweber. “Inspirations is the reality of our time, the market expects the perfect blend style and value.” Setting it's self ahead of foreign competitors, Romweber's new system of distribution allows vendors to keep “just-in-time” inventory having a delivery time of two to three weeks. This improves their margins by saving them warehousing and spoiled goods expenses, and eliminating delivery delays. Inspirations will be available to the public as soon as Oct 1 through major distributors and in time for the holidays through smaller distributors across the US.
