Taylor King, innovative designer and manufacturer of bench made upholstered seating and coordinating accessories, has introduced their first ever collection of exquisite upper end recliners. The recliners, slated for introduction this fall at the High Point market, incorporate the latest in motion technology. Each piece will be custom made with great attention given to function, tailoring, and seating comfort. In their quest to become a more complete universal supplier of high end home furnishings, Taylor King decided to venture into the motion market to better meet the needs of their customers and end consumer. With this new introduction, Taylor King takes another step in becoming a more well-rounded resource, offering more flexibility and style selection. For over three decades, Taylor King has been a leader in cutting edge trends and designs, so the introduction of reclining chairs comes as no surprise. Many recliner styles were derived from best-selling Taylor King stationary chairs. Other styles were especially designed for the motion market. The company also intends to offer the availability of its entire fabric and leather choices for special order on appropriate recliner styles. Not only will Taylor King offer the finest in style detail, an additional goal is designing each chair for the utmost in comfort. The company is introducing an optional seat cushion featuring viscoelastic foam. The foam, known for its body-conforming properties, has superior comfort and durability to other conventional foams. Many details will distinguish Taylor King in the motion category. All recliner styles will feature a hidden, inside handle release. Additionally, all patterned fabrics will be four-way flow matched, and over twenty wood finishes and several nailhead trim choices are also available. One of the primary objectives for president Del Starnes is to overcome the stigma that recliners evoke in today's design community.
