World Market Center is unveiled the first wave of marketing strategies geared to drive buyer registrations for the debut of Las Vegas Market, scheduled for July 25-29, 2005. The centerpiece of this launch campaign is the Market’s newly re-designed website, www.LasVegasMarket.com. The new site delivers high-style with high-functionality, and gives both buyers and exhibitors the tools and information they need to successfully plan for the first Las Vegas Market. “Together with our tenants, we have built-up an incredible amount of interest among buyers across the nation and internationally. We receive hundreds of calls a month from buyers who are eager to come to Las Vegas,” said World Market Center’s Director of Marketing & Public Relations Dana Pretner. “We are now converting this interest into action. We’re proud to roll-out a comprehensive website and registration program that allows buyers to officially get on board with the first Las Vegas Market.” The informative, easy-to-navigate website offers a number of unique tools and features for buyers and exhibitors, including: -On-line buyer registration -Discounted Las Vegas hotels and a room-booking engine -Exhibitor listings, product index, floor plans as well as upcoming events and seminars -A section of “Frequently Asked Questions,” as well as new information about on-site amenities such as the Business Center, Concierge Service, Internet Lounge, Café and International Lounge -Designer resources and information about showrooms found year-round in the Design Center International Buyers area offering visa guidelines and electronic applications as well as links to embassy and consulate information -A complete Las Vegas city guide that offers helpful statistics, resources and links to popular city websites -Leasing opportunities for Phases Two and Three, including floor plans and space applications for prospective permanent and temporary exhibitors -Tenant improvement section for permanent exhibitors in Phase One, which includes construction schedules, standard options and upgrades for their showrooms -A web-cam link which allows users real-time views of the building’s construction -A “Top News” section which offers photos and updates about Market, exhibitors and Las Vegas -Interactive features such as site searches, discussion boards, job postings and more One of the most unique, convenient tools is a section called Virtual Veg@s which allows attendees 24-hour access to customize their Market experience. Buyers can use Virtual Veg@s in order to develop a list of exhibitors they want to see including showroom or booth location; preview and select seminars and networking events they will attend at Market; manage Market appointments with exhibitors; build a personal agenda, then store, print or download to a PDA; book hotel reservations or select attractions in Las Vegas to enhance the overall Market experience. “Virtual Veg@s is a superb planning tool and is exclusive to Las Vegas Market,” said World Market Center’s Director of Market Operations Briana Mackey. “Attendees can have their entire trip organized before they even arrive. We will also provide technology that offers complete synchronization with PDA devices to ensure that buyers are totally connected throughout their Market experience.” Mackey has also established a Buyer Services department, which is able to facilitate around-the-clock assistance to interested parties. Buyers can call the registration hotline at 866-229-3574 or get questions answered via email at: Buyers@LasVegasMarket.com. “We are building a world-class Market and intend to give our buyers the best possible service, amenities and conveniences available at Markets. Launching this communications effort is the beginning of that experience, and with each Market, we strive to accommodate buyers’ new needs leading up to and during the Market,” added Mackey. The new site also integrates the style, design and the aesthetic feel of the overall project. Circular features, for example, are among the visual signatures of World Market Center. Starting with a logo that communicates a global message, circles are now featured in cyberspace, and also will be prevalent in the building’s design – from the iconic façade of Phase One to common areas in the building. Circular icons will be incorporated into floor treatments, ceiling tiles, hallway signs and other environmental graphics. In addition to the revamped website, World Market Center will be unveiling a compelling new advertising campaign in industry trade publications. The teaser ads, entitled “Buyers, Start Your Search Engines,” will promote buyer registration through the website. There are also ads promoting leasing opportunities for Phase Two and Three. To supplement the trade advertising, World Market Center will also continue distribution its popular e-newsletter program, Marketview: Vegas!” with a fresh new look. Speaking engagements to trade groups will round out the integrated marketing campaign. “Our goal is to make our website a living and vibrant environment. Buyers will be able to find new information daily, whether it’s exhibitor updates or a new hotel we’ve added at a discounted rate,” said Pretner. “We expect a tremendous response based on this marketing effort and will continue to evolve the campaign throughout the coming months.” For more information on World Market Center, the July 25-29, 2005 Market, or leasing opportunities for Phases Two and Three, call 888-416-8600 or visit www.LasVegasMarket.com
