WHFA Requests Nominations For 2005 Western Retailer Of The Year Award

The Western Home Furnishings Association, the regional trade association representing furniture retailers located throughout the western United States, announced that they are currently seeking nominations for the prestigious 2005 Western Retailer of the Year award to be presented at their 45th Annual Conference and Trade Show which will be held in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from Sunday, May 15 through Tuesday, May 17, 2005.  Judged by a committee of home furniture leaders, the award will be presented to the nominee who exhibits three areas of achievement:  1) contributions to the industry; 2) community service;  3) personal business achievements and company leadership.  Candidates may be nominated by WHFA members, sponsor manufacturers and suppliers and factory representatives.  Nominations are due by January 30, 2005.  Nomination forms are available by calling the WHFA office at (800) 422-3778 or visiting their website at www.WHFA.org.  For more information regarding the Western Retailer of the Year award, call WHFA Meeting Planner, Cindi Williams at:  (916) 960-0277.
