Four Winners Win Diamond Jewelry At 75th Anniversary Butler Gala

Connie Post drew names of four buyers who won diamond jewelry during a raffle to celebrate the mid-point of Butler Specialty Company's 75 Diamond Anniversary year. The drawings were part of an opening night gala in the Butler showroom at the recent International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. Post was a celebrated guest at the gala following the announcement that she had selected Butler as the exclusive producer of accent furniture in her new home furnishings collection that will debut at the April market in High Point. Post drew Mary Lou Miley's name as the grand prize winner. Miley of Winchendon Furniture in Winchendon, Mass., won a Movado diamond watch. Other winners were: -Ruby Jelynn Hall of H-K Sales in Dallas, Texas, winner of a 14 karat gold tennis bracelet with 1 carat of diamonds; -Marilyn Hitchner of Merit Furniture in Lexington, Ky. She won a gold necklace with pendant featuring a half-carat diamond; -Buddy Butler of Butler Furniture Company in Lake Charles, La., who won a pair of diamond earrings. “The excitement was palpable among a record crowd in our showroom as Connie pulled the winners' names,” said Dan Sumner, vice president of sales and marketing. “It's was especially rewarding for us to give fine diamond jewelry to some of our best customers.” Butler, founded here in 1930 and is managed today by second and third generations.
