Zínaz–Unique Accents & Furniture New Full-Service Furniture and Decor Retail Concept To Open Mid-October

Zínaz, a 17,500-sq. ft. furniture store and home decorating center, is set to open mid-October at 225 North Stephanie in Henderson, Nev. Zínaz will carry a wide variety of one-of-a-kind furniture and decorative, unique accents from around the world–some created for Zínaz exclusively. Zínaz, a full-service furniture retail store, will bring unique and out-of-the-ordinary home accents and furniture to Las Vegas from around the world. The wide array of inventory, approximately 3,600 pieces on site at all times, showcases furniture in such mediums as wood, iron, wicker, stone, marble, ceramics, pewter, copper and glass to name a few. The focus of Zínaz-Unique Accents & Furniture will be to feature products–switching out merchandise on a regular basis–that caters to every taste and price range all the way up to major conversation pieces that can’t be reproduced. Another feature of Zínaz is the customer support and interaction of the retail staff with store patrons. Zínaz will provide “Help Phones” which will be placed throughout the store for customers to receive quick responses about products. “We’re trying to create the gold standard when it comes to service, quality and variety,” said Zina Walker, co-principal of Zínaz. “The entire concept of our store is that people won’t necessarily come to Zínaz to furnish their whole home, but a home won’t be furnished without coming to Zínaz. Our goal is to create an exciting, eclectic, cheerful and upbeat environment to shop and learn. Some pieces have their own history, which you’ll be able to see the minute you walk through our doors,” she added. Within the Zínaz venue there will be five distinct locations, or nook areas, that will showcase special components of Zínaz: ‘Tis the Season, which will feature seasonal and holiday décor; Special Places, which will exhibit furniture and other items from specific regions or countries; Finishing Touches, the small, but important details that make a room distinct and noticeable from curtain rods to knockers and cabinet pulls; Created By You, where customers are able to interact with Zínaz’ qualified staff to create and custom-make pieces from refinishing to reupholstering items; and One-of-a-Kind, which will showcase conversational pieces. For example, Zínaz is bringing in individually hand-carved pieces made from 200-year old mesquite wood, a wood rarely used for carving because it is so hard, as well as the African Odyssey pieces that incorporate untreated, railroad ties into the furniture. Currently, African Odyssey furniture can only be purchased through African Odyssey stores and Zínaz. Zínaz-Unique Accents & Furniture concept was founded and created by John Breeding-–CEO, Larry Skolnik–vice president of operations and Zina Walker–vice president of merchandising. The 17,500-sq. ft. store will be located at 225 North Stephanie in Henderson, Nev., with store hours from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
