Sea Gull Lighting Products, Inc., has appointed Stephen Mitchell to the newly created position of Director of Retail Sales. As a member of the company's sales management team, Mitchell will be responsible for creating, implementing and directing the company's retail sales initiatives. His sales and marketing expertise, particularly within the home improvement industry, will not only serve to broaden Sea Gull Lighting's expanding market position, but also to enhance and strengthen the company's channel expansion initiatives. Mitchell brings with him 13 years of sales, marketing and leadership expertise along with an extensive understanding of the hardware, home center, and electrical markets. Most recently, he was Director of National Accounts at Simkar Corporation / Kalco Lighting. Prior to his position with Simkar, Stephen Mitchell was with Master Lock, Lamson Home Products, and Ideal Industries.
