Habersham unveiled a number of new accent pieces, case goods, occasional tables and other designs during the Fall 2005 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC. From muted colors and delicate designs to bold patterns and rich finishes, the introductions demonstrate Habersham’s vast range in the hand-painted, hand-finished category. Among the most popular Fall 2005 market designs were: BILTMORE LOIRE LIBRARY/MEDIA CENTER—Of all the rooms in the Biltmore House, the Library was George Vanderbilt’s favorite and it is the room that best reflects his intellect and personality. It is also the inspiration for this Limited Edition design, which was hand-painted by the artist to capture the style of a gentleman’s estate in the Loire Valley of western France. This area of France, with its chateaus and grand estates, gave influence to Richard Hunt, the architect of Biltmore House. The masculine wood tones and the noble crest create an atmosphere of French aristocracy, while the functional design accommodates leading edge technology. It takes the master artist 23 days to complete the hand-painted art on this stunning design, which is part of the Biltmore Estate Collection from Habersham. BUCKINGHAM 3-PIECE HOME ENTERTAINMENT CENTER – Bring a touch of timeless architecture and decoration to your home with this British-inspired entertainment center. Completely hand-painted and hand-finished, the entertainment center is both functional and a magnificent addition to any living space. The center unit, which is also sold separately, features grandly adorned doors to conceal a TV, while side units offer excellent storage and display options as well. TUSCANY SIDEBOARD – A new addition to the Bella Rustica Collection, this sideboard brings hand-painted accents together with Habersham’s signature hand-finish to create a rich, warm Old World European look and style. Glass doors enhance the look, creating a showcase for treasured accents and accessories. MASTER’S CAFÉ --Responding to the growing trend for a master café unit in today’s master bedrooms, Habersham has launched this stunning new decorated design. Completely hand-painted and hand-finished, the Café’s interior can hold a small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker or other appliances. Space is also provided to add a sink. OLD CASTILE HUNT DESK – Inspired by the architecture and design motifs once found in the famed historic region and former kingdom of Spain, this desk design is sure to enhance any room environment. Form flatters function as the soft finish, ample curving top, intricate legs and other accents create a sense of texture and flow. MONACO SIDEBOARD/CURIO – This unique piece exemplifies Habersham’s signature hand-finish with a Riviera-inspired design that combines sophistication and functionality. The wood finish blends with the curved iron accents of the doors to provide the perfect accent to complete any room. The Bella Rustica Collection made its debut in the fall of 2004. The Collection ranges from grand scale case goods inspired by the soft tones and casually elegant styling of the Italian countryside to accent pieces reflecting an Old World look and influence. Launched in the Spring of 2004, the Biltmore Estate Collection from Habersham draws its inspiration from the entertainment and hospitality that defined the landmark Asheville, NC estate at the turn of the century. Its grand scale designs and accent furnishings reflect the art, architecture, history and ambience of the estate. Now celebrating more than 30 years in business, Toccoa, Georgia-based Habersham Furniture Company is a leading manufacturer of hand-painted and styled showpiece reproductions and original furniture designs.
