Tom Broyhill has wrapped up a two-week personal appearance tour involving five retail stores covering three states. For the past year, Broyhill Furniture Industries has been celebrating the company’s 100th anniversary. Tom Broyhill has been visiting many of the company’s dealers across the country, assisting with ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and centennial celebrations. Tom Lentz, vice president of marketing for Broyhill stated, “Who better to talk to dealers and their customers about the history of Broyhill Furniture than a member of the Broyhill family? It’s a great opportunity for our retailers, customers, and their communities to learn about the legacy of our company as well as the beautiful furniture we produce from a ‘family’ perspective.” On February 16, Broyhill visited Kloss Furniture’s two grand opening events in Illinois and Missouri. These ribbon cuttings were also attended by city leaders and chamber members. While there, Tom posed for pictures with visitors and store employees, and signed pieces of furniture and other memorabilia. Visitors also received autographed copies of Broyhill Furniture’s decorating workbook called “Visions.” On February 24 and 25, he visited three Good’s Furniture locations in Pennsylvania during their Broyhill 100th Anniversary celebrations. Visitors gathered to preview the furniture offerings and to learn firsthand about the manufacturing and production processes involved. Tom Broyhill’s third generation experience gives him a rich background and a wealth of knowledge about the home furnishings that have graced American homes for decades. He is vice president of international sales and contract, and has been with the company for 31 years. Broyhill Furniture’s extensive furniture line includes products for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, home entertainment, and home office. Broyhill is headquartered in Lenoir, North Carolina and is part of Furniture Brands International (NYSE:FBN), also the parent company of Drexel Heritage, Henredon, Maitland-Smith, Lane, and Thomasville.
