The American Society of Interior Designers - Illinois Chapter (ASID-IL) announced the formation of its new Speakers Bureau. The Speakers Bureau is comprised of various ASID-IL members who are set to deliver in-person presentations on several topics related to interior design, appropriate for both public/consumer organizations and professional business groups.
"We've always had a deep tradition of sharing the interior design expertise of our members and our industry with clients through one-on-one consultations, projects and special events throughout the years. By launching the Speakers Bureau today, we are officially creating a central hub for interested consumer and business groups to gain easy access to design topics and knowledge that they will find valuable," said Michelle Watt, ASID. "Our friendly, talented members are excited to visit with local groups to spread design intelligence throughout the State of Illinois."
ASID-IL Speakers Bureau presentation topics run the gamut and include: antiques, color trends, design trends, accessorizing, "green" or eco-friendly design, renovation and remodeling, and everything in-between. The goal of each presentation is product and service education for those in attendance. ASID-IL believes that design-savvy consumers and novices alike will benefit from attending an informal seminar in their area.
Reviewing topics, scheduling a talk and learning more about the ASID-IL Speakers Bureau can be done easily and conveniently by visiting the ASID Illinois Chapter Web site at www.asidillinois.com and clicking on the "Speakers Bureau" menu item, or by calling the ASID Illinois Chapter headquarters at 312-467-5080.
For a nominal fee of $100, business and chamber associations, women's groups, community organizations, and building management groups, to name a few, will be able to host an ASID-IL interior design expert. Each presentation will offer attendees background information, pertinent examples and practical information to jumpstart residential and commercial design projects and generate new ideas.
