GERS Retail Systems names Steve Pulver Director of Client Sales & Services

GERS Retail Systems, a leading supplier of business solutions for the retail industry, today announced that it has named Steve Pulver Director of Client Sales and Services. With an extensive background in the home furnishings industry, Pulver returns to the company after working for several years in the retail technology sector. He replaces Alan Ayres, who will bring his expertise to the sales division at FurnishNet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GERS. As Director of Client Sales and Services, Pulver will manage the client sales team and continue to build strong relationships with existing GERS customers. Pulver will report to John Wehrheim, Vice President of Sales. "A seasoned veteran of the home furnishings industry as a retailer and solutions provider, Steve offers a unique perspective to our customer base," noted Wehrheim. Pulver began his career in the home furnishings industry at Mr. Bear’s Furniture Company, where he served as owner and President for more than a decade. He joined GERS in 1991, holding the positions of National Sales Manager of Professional Services and Director of Sales. Pulver was most recently involved in business-to-business product sourcing solutions and corporate real estate software for retailers. He has more than 23 years of experience in providing high technology solutions, and is happy to be back at GERS.
