Rooms Express will launch its Grand Opening celebration Thursday, September 14th at 11:00am with a press conference and kick-off media event, Linder’s Furniture corporate officials announced. The finishing touches are on their brand new 35,000 square foot store in La Quinta giving desert residents a new place to turn for their home furnishing needs. Offering Rooms Express and a Legacy Gallery Designer Showroom in one location, clients will have an incredible shopping experience in a peaceful, comfortable and beautiful environment. Responding to the increased growth in the Desert, Linder’s Furniture, the Rooms Express parent company, decided to build in La Quinta, one of the fastest growing communities in California. “We couldn’t think of a better location for our new store,” said Eric Foucrier, Linder’s Furniture President. “The Chamber of Commerce and the City of La Quinta have really applauded our efforts. This has been a great partnership and the reception from the community has been outstanding!” “We enthusiastically welcome Rooms Express to La Quinta,” said La Quinta Mayor Don Adolph, who plans to present a city proclamation to the store during the event. “Rooms Express is a great example of how La Quinta is expanding to support the growing needs of the city and the entire Valley.” In addition to a day full of fun, food and music on September 14th, the store’s grand opening will also kick-off a huge, corporate-wide promotion. Beginning September 14th, Linder’s Furniture will be giving away 50 rooms in 50 days. “This is the biggest furniture giveaway in industry history,” Foucrier said. “We’re literally going to be giving away more than $100,000 in furniture to the public.” About Linder’s Furniture: Linder’s Furniture is a leading retailer of quality home furnishings and is the largest independent furniture chain in Southern California. Linder’s acquired the Legacy stores in January, bringing their network of retail sites to 11 and their staff size to more than 375. Since then, they have tripled their presence in the Coachella Valley with stores in Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage and now La Quinta.
