In response to customer inquiries, Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. (ICTA) is making a bold move. It is announcing pricing for its new N-Series diesel models now; however the redesigned truck will not be unveiled until next year. “Our redesigned N-Series diesel products - to be unveiled in January 2007 - will be the newest and most advanced low-cab forwards on the market,” said Todd Bloom, General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck marketing vice president. “Our customers need the convenience of planning ahead. We want them to have all the information needed now to make an informed, purchase decision.” The new pricing reflects a revamped design and added technology. The average MSRP increase for the new N-Series diesel trucks – which includes the 2007 model year NPR and the 2008 model year NPR HD, NQR and NRR – will be $4,400. Of this, approximately $3,300 is estimated for the equipment and regeneration technology used to meet the upcoming, government-mandated emissions standards. As a part of the GM and Isuzu joint partnership, the Isuzu produced N-Series is also marketed by GM as the W-Series. Pricing will be effective January 1, 2007.
