SF Mart Announces Revised Show Dates

New dates for the San Francisco Mart's 2007 Home Furnishings Shows were announced that overlap the San Francisco International Gift Fair (SFIGF) at Moscone Center, enabling buyers to more easily cross-merchandise their stores in just one shopping trip. The new dates are: Winter Home Furnishings Show 2007 Saturday-Tuesday, February 17-20 Summer Home Furnishings Show 2007 Saturday-Tuesday, August 4-7 Management from the venues are working together to ensure that buyers experience a show that is very easy to shop. Buyers will be able to shop all buildings with just one show badge and can ride a free shuttle between the venues. Showrooms at the SF Mart will be open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Hotel accommodations start at just $86 and are available though www.sfigf.com or 800-821-0339. The SF Mart moved its all 2006 dates to overlap two days with the SFIGF, a move that was well-received by exhibitors and buyers alike. “Based on the positive feedback we received, as well as on the shift in our business model to be more inclusive of the total home environment, we decided to completely overlap our show dates,” says Roseann Carini, the SF Mart’s general manager.
