After 30 years of service to Port Perry and surrounding areas, Settlement House Shops is Going Out Of Business, as the owner, Ms. Daphne Mitchell, has decided to retire from the retail business in order to pursue other interests. Settlement House Shops, which carries Home Furnishings & Accents by such distinguished makers as Highland House, Durham, Decorest, Pulaski, Lane, Hooker, Stanley, Taylor King, Canadel, Bermex, Fernetti, Bernhardt and Magnussen, has leased its building and will begin a Great $2 Million Going Out Of Business Sale on Wednesday January 31, 2007. The Daniel Lynch Sales Company will coordinate the Sale. “We expect tremendous crowds due to the low prices we will be offering on this fine quality inventory, which must be sold out quickly and efficiently,” said Chris Lynch, of Daniel Lynch Sales Company’s Miami office.
