Biltmore For Your Home, the product licensing division of The Biltmore Company in Asheville, North Carolina, added two new positions within its management team with the recent hires of Elizabeth Ford and Jeff Plack. The positions have been created as a result of continued growth for the division, which oversees development of branded products inspired by George Vanderbilt’s turn of the century estate, Biltmore. Products include the categories of home furnishings, home building products, outdoor living and landscape. “The way our business has grown has necessitated additional resources to focus on managing and expanding business in these distribution channels,” said Timothy Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmore For Your Home. “Adding Elizabeth and Jeff to our team to work with our existing partners to maximize those relationships, as well as extend the scope of our brand, is an important and exciting step for the future of Biltmore For Your Home.” Ford has been named licensing manager of home furnishings for Biltmore For Your Home and will oversee the development of furniture, decorative home accessories, lighting, rugs and framed art. She joins Biltmore with 10 years of marketing and business development experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a master’s from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. In addition to Ford, Plack has joined the team as licensing manager of specialty building products for Biltmore For Your Home. He will be responsible for overseeing the development of products such as hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets, house plans, hardwood entry doors, and millwork. Prior to joining Biltmore, Plack held positions in the wood and building product industry and worked with the innovative company MJB Wood Group, Inc. in Irving, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Appalachian State University. About Biltmore Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Biltmore was the vision of George W.
