Young Home Furnishings Professionals Merges With AHFA

The Young Home Furnishings Professionals, an organization dedicated to attracting young people to the home furnishings industry, as well as to keeping talented young professionals in the industry, has become a division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance. “YHFP brings excellent goals and objectives under the AHFA umbrella,” states AHFA CEO Andy Counts. “We look forward to providing valuable services and important networking opportunities for the young men and women who belong to YHFP.” The annual membership fee for belonging to this premier network of industry professionals under age 40 was previously $50. It will remain $50 a year for qualified individuals from non-AHFA member companies. Qualified employees at AHFA member companies, however, will enjoy YHFP membership as an added benefit of their company’s AHFA membership. All YHFP members, whether they come from an AHFA member company or not, will receive access to selected, members-only areas of the information-packed AHFA website, www.ahfa.us, as a valuable new benefit of YHFP membership.
