Powell Adds "Retail Selling Module" To Powellpro.net

The Powell Company announced the introduction of a new addition to its PowellPRO retail ordering system. The new “Retail Selling Module”, POWELLSELLS, allows dealer sales staff to view only retail selling prices (established by each individual retailer). It isolates confidential information so that sales staff may use it with consumers not exposing other confidential dealer information. Tom Liddell, Senior Vice President - National Sales, says " We are confident that this system will make doing business with Powell easier and better than ever. We suggest that our retailers talk with their Powell sales representative regarding the use of this program. Our sales team is fully equipped to assist with any needs their customers may have." This new PowellSELLS Module” offers each dealer: -ability to use the PowellPRO system to sell at retail prices -site access only to qualified users with password -ability to view entire Powell product line -have instant information on product availability -no need to separately lookup wholesale prices and risk mistakes determining retail prices, they’re automatically shown. -ability to present products by category, collection or individually. -brighter, sharper photos -ability to print photos and information within seconds for consumer handout -never fear ordering an item no longer in the line (PowellPRO updates every 30 minutes) PowellPRO, which was launched in August, 2006 provides Powell's dealers an easy to use on-line access to the company's ordering system and a simple way for dealers to place orders and track order status. It allows dealers web based access to all of their open orders, inventory availability and order and shipment confirmations. It also offers early access to Powell promotions and pricing specials. In only eight short months more than 2,600 dealers have registered to use the ordering system. The volume with customers using the PowellPRO system has increased 32%. It’s also important to note; both Powell and the dealers order errors are practically non-existent.
