La-Z-Boy Names New Corporate Controller

La-Z-Boy Incorporated announced that Margaret ("Peg") Mueller has been named Vice President, Corporate Controller. Mueller, 38, takes the place of Mark Copping, who has left the company. In her new capacity, Mueller will have responsibility for corporate accounting, accounting consolidations, the corporation's internal and external financial reporting, payroll and internal control compliance in addition to special projects and analysis. She will report to Chief Financial Officer, Mike Riccio. Riccio said, "I am delighted that Peg has accepted the corporate controller's position as she has been a significant asset to our company over the years and has been a true leader in our corporate accounting department." Mueller joined La-Z-Boy's corporate accounting department in 1993 and, over the 14-year period, has held various positions of increasing responsibility.
