During the 2003 San Francisco Summer Market Member Appreciation Reception, Saturday July 19th, the Western Home Furnishings Association will honor their longest serving board member, the 1992 WHFA President, and 1995 inaugural Western Retailer of the Year, Larry Wolfe, Silverado Furniture, Napa, CA. Larry’s service to the association is as legendary as it is gracious. With nearly 20 years of service to the WHFA membership as a board member, Larry has contributed vast amounts of time, talent, energy and enthusiasm to the growth and prosperity of the association and the industry as a whole. “We have shared together, laughed together, worked together, and even shed tears together to make a small mark in the furniture industry for change,” stated Larry in his letter of resignation to the Board. Beloved in the industry, Larry will be missed for his great contributions to the Association, the industry and his community. The ceremony to Honor Larry for his service will be held during the New WHFA Cocktail Reception, at the Concourse Center, July 19, 2003, beginning at 5:30pm. This party will also host the presentation of the Gold Pass Awards from the San Francisco Mart. This market’s Gold Pass recipients will be Bob Ammirato and Valerie Valentine, Design Galleria by Valentine, Sacramento, CA, and George and Greg Follett, Follett’s Furniture, Lewiston, ID,
