Thomas C. LeDuc, president of the The Spring Air Company, was elected vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) at its June 27 meeting in Park City, UT. LeDuc, who has served on various ISPA committees, including the Board of Trustees, will serve a one-year term. In his role as vice chairman, LeDuc will serve as both chairman of the ISPA 2004 Finance Committee and vice chairman of the ISPA Executive Committee. “Both ISPA and our industry are experiencing dramatic changes,” said LeDuc. “I believe these changes, from flammability developments to global trade issues, provide tremendous opportunities for our members to continue to move our association forward.” “Tom’s long history of leadership will ensure that we meet industry challenges with innovation and optimism,” said ISPA President Dick Doyle. “I am confident that Tom will provide a tremendous level of leadership in helping ISPA achieve the goals outlined in our strategic plan.” LeDuc has served as president of Spring Air, Mountain West, Inc., located in Salt Lake City, UT, since 1985. He also served as chairman of The Spring Air Company headquartered in Chicago, IL, where he is currently a board member. LeDuc has enjoyed over 30 years experience in the bedding industry.
