Hickory Hardware Hires Five New Additions to Management Team

Hickory Hardware™, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of decorative, functional and industrial hardware, announced the addition of five new members to its management team. The new appointments are: Ashley Holland as retail product manager, Robert Bloise as network administrator, Shane Smith as IT program manager, and Jason Watson and Richard Stewart as shipping dock supervisors.
Ashley Holland, a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee's M.B.A.program, comes to Hickory Hardware as a retail product manager. She has experience working on multiple marketing projects for major corporations, including Procter & Gamble and Harley Davidson. Holland previously worked as an events coordinator and media contact for the Jekyll Island Authority and as director of marketing and fund development for the YWCA in Brunswick, GA.
Robert Bloise joins Hickory Hardware as a new network administrator from Bloisetek, Inc., where he was responsible for computer repair, computer networking, and web development and consulting. Robert holds a General Radio Telephone FCC license and is presently working to obtain Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications. He received his teaching certificate from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has an associate's degree from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics.
Shane Smith comes to Hickory Hardware as IT program manager from Cornerstone Solutions in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he served as SCS professional services manager. Shane has nearly 20 years of experience in overseeing operations, as well as designing and administering systems in diverse distribution and manufacturing environments. He received his bachelor's degree in business management from Indiana University Southeast in New Albany.
Jason Watson joins Hickory Hardware as night shift supervisor from Penske Logistics in Spring Hill, Tennessee, where he worked for more than four years as shipping dock supervisor. He has experience allocating manpower, ensuring on-time shipments to customers, and training new personnel. Jason studied business management at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Richard Stewart joins the Hickory Hardware team as dock supervisor. He brings more than 20 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse duties. Prior to coming to Hickory Hardware, Richard worked at Moeller Marine as shipping and warehouse supervisor and at Giant Foods, where he served as shipping lead.
