Fourth Generation Family Member Scott Price Joins Toms-Price Home Furnishings

Toms-Price Home Furnishings, a leading Chicago market retailer of high quality home furnishings announced that Scott Price becomes the fourth generation Price family member to serve the 95-year old privately held company. The former investment banker with Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. and the Goldman Sachs Group will be responsible for focusing on the future growth of the home furnishings company in the greater Chicago area. While serving as an investment banker, he worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions as well as financing transactions for companies across several industries. “We are very excited about Scott’s decision to join the business at this critical time of our growth and expansion,” David E. Price, President, Toms-Price Home Furnishing said. “I believe this move further demonstrates our family commitment to the Toms-Price future and the strategic expansion of our business,” he added. “I am very much looking forward to building upon our company’s past successes with our customer and supplier relationships as well as bringing additional growth and expansion to the company," Scott Price said. “Throughout my life I have maintained a very strong interest and familiarity in the home furnishings industry. I am ready to fully commit myself to the company founded by my great grandfather and contribute to our firm’s future growth. Scott Price earned degrees in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University.
