Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center, Las Vegas’ only to-the-trade resource for the interior design community, will welcome Bravo TV’s search for the country’s next top designer on January 28 and January 29 during the Winter Las Vegas Market. Bravo, home to the most talked-about and compelling reality series on television, recently announced the return of their popular series “Top Design.” The interior design focused series will get its own makeover for season two from Magical Elves, the production company behind Bravo's wildly successful “Top Chef” and “Project Runway” franchises. The hour-long, weekly program will showcase some of the country’s hottest new interior designers, artists and architects as they compete to create the “Top Design” each week. “Like fashion designers and chefs, interior designers inhabit a rich, visual world that attracts fascinating personalities, so we are really excited to take on the challenge of bringing this successful show to the next level,” said executive producer Dan Cutforth. “Top Design’s” casting agents will be interviewing promising candidates on the 4th floor of Building B at World Market Center during January’s Las Vegas Market – which draws thousands of designers to Las Vegas for home furnishings’ mega-event. Producers will be looking for all types of artists, from all walks of life, whose design sensibility can be expressed in the world of interiors. Up-and-coming as well as established professionals and aspirants will compete for career-making opportunities and work under the eyes of the industry’s top names. In addition to battling for a $100,000 grand prize the chosen designer will win a coveted spread in Elle Décor magazine. About World Market Center: World Market Center is an integrated home and hospitality contract furnishings showroom and trade complex in Las Vegas. Next Summer when Building C opens, World Market Center will stand at more than five million square feet of space, exceeding the size of any wholesale merchandise mart in the United States. The $3 billion, state-of-the-art campus will showcase furniture, decorative accessories, lighting, area rugs, home textile and related segments, as well as the Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC) open year-round to the trade.
