Design Green Alliance Forms to Grow Sustainability

Design Green Alliance announced its formation as an organization that allows furniture manufacturers to enhance their marketing efforts while working together to promote sustainability in the industry. “The Design Green Alliance serves as a united front for sustainable manufacturers looking to increase their presence in the marketplace,” said Tim Loveday, founder of the Design Green Alliance. “The message of sustainability and environmental stewardship has never been more important, and by working together, we can make a difference in the furniture industry and in the world.” The Design Green Alliance purchases large blocks of exhibit space at furniture trade shows and conventions worldwide. The resulting “green pavilion” creates a destination for buyers, designers and other show attendees to learn about sustainability from companies that are leading the effort. As members of the Design Green Alliance, manufacturers benefit from the increased visibility that comes from being part of the destination.
