Belle Meade Signature announced that it will open the doors to its new showroom in Market Square in High Point at the upcoming Spring Market. The 14,000 square foot showroom on the third floor of Market Square is a first for Belle Meade Signature, a new luxury casegoods and upholstery manufacturer. Although the company is new to the industry, its executive leadership boasts an extensive pedigree in supplying the high-end OEM market through their sister company, Exact Commerce. They expect this success to translate to a retail environment. “Over the past twenty years, we have been actively engaged in the dramatic transformation of the furniture community, building company-owned infrastructure in both China and the U.S. Our industry has evolved into a complex, global enterprise, and Belle Meade Signature is built to thrive in this environment,” said Jonathan Cochran, CEO. “For the high-end and interior design audience, High Point is the most logical, relevant home furnishings market for the launch of our brand, said Cochran. “Market Square, with its reputation for attracting high-end retail and designer traffic, is the perfect complement to our product line.” For the Spring market, Belle Meade will unveil a smart, sophisticated assortment of upholstery, occasional and dining pieces, drawing inspiration from a variety of periods and genres, including traditional English Regency and Neoclassic to French and Spanish influences. They will add a full complement of bedroom pieces in the Fall. “From the initial development of our line, we committed to preserving the integrity of our designers’ collective vision. As a result, we have created a truly eclectic line of unique pieces, utilizing only the finest raw materials for every structural and aesthetic element. With the coupling of our expansive product line and turnkey, stateside warehouse distribution, we expect an immediate and meaningful impact at retail,” said Cochran. “We are always pleased to see new manufacturers entering the industry,” said Tom Mitchell, senior vice president and general manager of Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., “Belle Meade Signature will perfectly complement Market Square’s full line-up of higher-end tenants.” For more information about Belle Meade Signature, visit www.bellemeadesignature.com or contact Jonathan Cochran at jcochran@BELLEMEADESIGNATURE.COM.
