The Relax-R Corporation Launches Network and Nationally Syndicated TV Campaign

A national television campaign for the RELAX-R Corporation's line of recliner chairs is scheduled to air in the year 2000 to support its retailers nationwide. According to Butch McCracken, President of the Relax-R Corporation, the popular recliners will be promoted in a series of 10 second promotional spots on a variety of long-running network and nationally-syndicated game shows including Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right and Jeopardy, as well as popular talk shows like Live with Regis & Kathy Lee. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy have consistently ranked No. 1 and 2 in the Neilsen ratings of the top ten syndicated programs nationwide. Also on the schedule are I 10-second commercials on the top syndicated talk show, Live with Regis and Kathy Lee. The Relax-R recliners will also be given away as prizes during these shows. The television campaign will kick off Relax-R's "millennium" advertising promotion, generating more than 500 million viewer impressions. The television campaign will feature RELAX-R recliners and support the company's extensive merchandising efforts. The visual will consist of still photos of the distinctive styles of chairs, as well as videotaped spots on Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
