The newly formatted Northwest Home Furnishings Show will be held Feb. 11-14, 2000 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.

Double in size from previous shows, the event will be strictly trade only, offer popularly priced booth fees and feature heavy promotion to accredited retailers and designers. Featured will be upholstery, case goods, lighting, occasional furniture and home accents. A festive afternoon buyers' cocktail party will be featured on the show exhibition floor, providing buyers and sellers a relaxing opportunity to conduct business, place orders and promote new products. "We expect to produce sizable buyer attendance from all parts of the Northwest," said Joan Stockton, show manager. "We are increasing advertising, direct mail, promotional enticements and a strong telemarketing, campaign," she noted.
